Challenge
Innovate Carolina, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development hub, needed to convene a national group of thought leaders to explore the intersection of innovation hubs and the future of work. But the scope of its work to date had largely been focused on a regional partner network.
UI Collab Solution
Innovate Carolina partnered with UI Collab and UIDP, a global university-industry partnership organization, and The University Financing Foundation, a nonprofit that supports university efforts to build innovation centers, to strategically expand the network of innovation hub leaders across the country.
Results
UI Collab’s expertise in stakeholder engagement ensured Innovate Carolina brought together the right voices—industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators—from around the country to inform the discussion on the interaction of the future of work with innovation hubs.
